Our political system is a joke. How can we take it seriously? It is so tragic. It's running America into the ground literally. Take the garbage out and start over. This is a health hazard for America. Why is our government so lax? So inept? America is not Russia with a dictator, yet! Get with it people, NOW!
We must not vote for him on November 5th or early voting, he is all about himself and the powers that be. Open your eyes don't be blinded by the big mouth words that he say, he is just a mouth piece for the rich and Putin.
Love this -- laughed out loud and was grossed out at the same time -- but I kept waiting for you to mention KING RAT, a 1962 James Clavell novel that was made into a 1965 movie. I definitely saw the movie as a mid-teenager and I probably read the book. Read the capsule description on IMDb and you'll see how the title character, a wheeler-dealer U.S. noncom in a Malaysian POW camp during WW2, has a few things in common with the Rat King. (The character's name is King -- subtle the author was not.) P.S. I did not realize that the "Subscribe" buttons on Substack could be tweaked. Your addendum cracked me up. Watch out, world . . .)
A great piece, blending opera, Bell Labs psych studies, childhood trauma, a hysterical street dance with screams, Eric the Rat, Nazis and The Rat King. Wow.
(I was an architect working at TAC on the new campus early 80’s before Judge Green took a cleaver to AT&T.)
Get tickets. Don’t go. It will be very empty.
King Rat Trump. Sounds good. And correct.
Thank you, David Rothkopf for your response.
And again, many thanks all. So glad there are others out there who think the same.
YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!

Curious to know what job an opera singer would have in the Biden administration (with all due respect).
Oh wow....I would freak if something ran up my leg. Why would they do that? The dirty things. I'd clout them.
Surprising isn't it. Thank you for responding, Ellen Franzen.
If only Sludge can be stopped!
Thanks, Mary Coombs. So how come so many people still like Sludge do you think?
Thank you, David Rothkopf. My tolerance has worn thin, and I've had it. I'm so tired of his schtick. He shouldn't even be on the ballot.
Thank you, Someone. I'm so glad you agree.

Thank you, Kathleen.
