Is it a secret to anyone at this point that when Trump says “we are a Nation in SERIOUS DECLINE," he means that the white percentage of the population is trending downward? White people (i.e., women) aren't having enough babies! Non-white people are stealing over the border and having too many babies! True, you'd never know this from the hue of the faces at the top of the pyramid, but still . . .
All that you say is so lmportant. I would like to add something I wrote in a different place. Please allow me. It is so clear for those who have eyes to see, how many forces are arrayed against those who can not see. Please see”Bad Faith” shown on u-tube. False religion has made them think they are working for God. Perhaps some of the press wishes only to save itself if Trump were to win.
Oh and look I just read a long post written from a family driving vacation with kids that Biden and Democrats are Republicans lite and are just as guilty as the right is for armageddon. You know white rich hetero normal people need to really think about how their words are perceived.
David, I think you underestimate Trump and his minions here.
“It would have to involve the military. How would that look, military vehicles and police cars prowling every town and city in America rounding up families, throwing them into concentration camps? Ugly. Quite apart from the likely illegality of it and the court challenges. This one sounds awful, would be awful and would also be nearly impossible to do.”
SCOTUS gave him pretty much unlimited and unfettered power; he will claim doing so is in the name of national security, and no matter how many lower court challenges opponents may win, they will take this to SCOTUS who will support him 6-3.
Not only that, he won’t just call up the actual military and state guards, he will call on his private armies to “help” as well. They are already talking about Dems being evil and how evildoers need to be killed. God help North Carolina and the GOP loon running for the governor’s seat. And if they shoot us, he will just pardon them.
Perhaps, but people keep underestimating him and his goons. The guardrails and grown ups that stopped him in the first term are gone and SCOTUS gave him carte blanch. It is despicable. I always keep in mind how the Germans and the rest of the Europeans underestimated Hitler. Too many believed it was just rhetoric and it would never come to the horror it was. And then we have Rwanda and before that the breakup of Yugoslavia and the “ethnic cleansing” there. It can happen—and I don’t want anyone to think Trump 2.0 will be just like 2017-2021. It will be much much worse, which is why he must be stopped.
I hope you understand I’m a former paralegal from two of this country’s top law firms back in the 90s so I guess I’m a frustrated disabled person. Since 1996.
I was thinking about it later, and wondered why I had credited it to that in my career when it was starting off as a proof operator in a bank, as well as a proof, reader and editor in a printing company in Tallahassee when I was 19 before the proofreading at the bank.it’s like it’s in my DNA to proofread. I’m almost almost 70 I thought I would’ve gotten rid of that tick long ago.

On Joy Reed yesterday she read out loud the part about abolishing the federal department of education and among the many atrocious consequences , mandating obligatory military entrance examinations in all federally supported (public) schools.
