Seems corporations steer clear of those (women esp) they can’t control. It’s not nice to ignore the patriarchy….. Alas, America.

That was lovely. My home is that we get both her & Tim Walz in the WH in 2028. We will desperately need them.

Enjoy the beach and that great view. From where most voters and I were, Harris was anything but “authentic”. She would not answer any remotely difficult questions without retreating into cliches and gibberish. It seemed like she was avoiding revealing her true positions because they are unpopular. People have to deal with others who dodge questions and hide the ball in their daily lives. A lot of them won’t vote for it.

Something to consider. This is not about a political party, it is about the security of our elections and all of us should be concerned.

Call me PARANOID if you want but read this and think about this past election.

I have worked for the Clark County Election Department part time since 2008. I have been training people on what to do working out at the polls on elections.

I woke up on Wednesday 11/06/2024 in shock along with millions of other Americans and I am sure a lot of other people all over this world. I could not believe so many Americans sold out this nation and our Democracy. I kept asking myself how this happened. The numbers do not make sense to me, and I know I am not alone. Then I remembered a word from the past (SUBLIMINAL). Yes, there is such a word. Subliminal Advertising.

What is SUBLIMINAL ADVERTISING?

Subliminal Messages are VISUAL or AUDITORY STIMULI that the conscious mind cannot perceive, often inserted into other media such as TV Commercials or SONGS. This kind of messaging can be used to strengthen or heighten, to persuasiveness of advertisements or to convey an altogether different message entirely.

True Subliminal messaging cannot be observed or discovered by the conscious mind, even if you are actively looking for them. This is because the stimulus to which we respond everyday – the things we see and hear around us – are above the threshold of conscious perception, unlike subliminal messages which are below this threshold.

What makes subliminal messaging so insidious is that even though we’re utterly unaware of the message hidden in whatever we’re watching or listening to, part of our subconscious mind cannot help but respond to these concealed stimuli – it happens entirely without our knowledge or consent.

On Election Day we were getting a lot of calls about DJ setting up their equipment outside of the one-hundred-foot mark from the election site entrance and playing very loud music. They did not appear to represent any political party. (SUBLIMINAL AUDITORY STIMULI) ??????? I thought this was very strange at the time. This happened at a lot of polling sites. I am wondering if this happened at other election sites across this nation.

In many countries SUBLIMINAL MESSAGING is banned, but it is not in the United States. I believe that we the people have been manipulated by the greatest con ever and we need to investigate this possibility while we still have a government.

Please think about this and investigate it. Do not just take my word for it. Our Democracy is at stake.

That didn’t age well…

True, but corporate America’s and oligarch money and reach won the day. Until that issue is dealt with and removed from the equations, it will be rinse and repeat.

According to Trumpers, God's in control and Trump will win. Lordy protect us from these religious fanatics.

I really liked your commentary and your choice of this particular pundit exchange which Ashley was refreshingly. Interesting. Plus the focus on this incredible candidate. It’s amazing how it cuts through all the noise on the other side.

People say that Walz didn’t win the debate, but frankly, I think his down-home friendly approach did. He didn’t come across as a polished debater because that wasn’t what we needed right then and frankly, the Trump people at least I think those that voted for him originally were looking for something different.

I’m off on a little bit of a different tangent, but I think if the Democrats would’ve let Bernie do his thing we would’ve had four years of Bernie and not trump. America was looking for a change and they picked the worst form.

Now, I think the cool part two about Kamala is that she is a woman and she’s a young woman. America needs youth. It needs a younger perspective. I think that’s why were in this uncomfortable situation in Gaza with, the murderous Netanyahu. Thanks for a great article you got another interested subscriber.

Thanks David for the post. I’m a San Franciscan who recognized Kamala’s talent a long time ago but she has taken that innate talent and worked and grown and evolved into the person that is ready on day 1 to be President of the US.

Wow! Every word was well said. I'm thrilled I not saying I didn't believe in Kamala . Following up after President Joe Biden are some tough and big shoes to fill. After all no one is perfect, we all make mistakes. But Mr. Biden followed his heart. And stepped down for the sakeand his love of our great country. My Dad would be proud of President Biden and I respect my Dad for his service 🇺🇸 in the Army. He was proud of his country. I hope people realize soon before election day what our country needs. And it's not a DICTATOR! It Kamala Harris/ Tim Walz that love our people and our country. And what it stands for.

I have always respected your analysis and opinions, David. It is so great to see you here supporting Kamala. My wife asked me yesterday about the depth of my support for Kamala, and I surprised myself by saying that I think she could easily turn out to be the greatest president in our history.

One of my favorite sayings is, “How you do anything is how you do everything.”

If Kamala Harris governs with the same tenacity, brilliance, dedication, and determination that has turned her campaign into a democratic juggernaut (and we all know she will) then her presidential term(s) will help this nation find the true greatness it is capable of.

Why do most people think Republicans manage the economy better than Democrats. Completely inconsistent with relevant literature:

“For well over a decade economists and other social scientists have documented a strong advantage in economic performance during Democratic administrations. …Positive indicators like growth in gross domestic product (GDP), income, and wages are faster, while negative indicators like unemployment, inflation, and interest rates are lower. Further, the fruits of economic growth are distributed substantially more equally under Democratic presidents.” Josh Bivens, Economic performance is stronger when Democrats hold the White House, EPI, April 2, 2024
